District of Columbia marijuana reform lawyer Paul Zukerberg has announced his candidacy for an at-large seat on the City Council. The city-wide special election is set for April 23, 2013. The District – Maryland – has some of the most antiquated and punitive marijuana laws in the nation. Arrest, prosecution and permanent criminal record for possession of any amount, no matter how tiny. Per capita, DC is #1 in nationally in marijuana arrests, with over 4,000 busts per year – the overwhelming majority for personal use quantities. Paul will begin to change that – with your help. Support marijuana law reform in the District. Volunteer or donate to the Committee to Elect Paul Zukerberg today. Volunteer training sessions begin on December 26 at noon at Paul’s office in Adams Morgan.
