DC’s first (and the nation’s largest) free marijuana seed exchange went off yesterday in Adams Morgan without a hitch. The only problem: long lines.
Thanks to a voter referendum called Initiative 71, DC residents are allowed to grow up to 6 plants per person and a max 12 per household. With home-grown, you don’t have to give your hard-earned $ to organized crime or the cartels. Thousands stood in line for hours to get the seeds needed to start their own home cultivation.
Participates left with strains named New York Purple Train Wreck, Golden Goat and Frankenberry. Will all these seeds turn into plants and flowers? Stay tuned.
